Meet people safely

• Never send money or share bank or mobile money details with someone you met on Find me, whatever the reason. Report anyone who asks.
• Meet in public the first few times: a café, a gym, a busy park.
• Tell a friend where you are going. The chat has a "Share plan" button for this.
• Video call first if you are unsure the person is who they say they are. Look for the verified badge.
• Arrange your own transport and keep your phone charged.
• Trust your instincts. Leave if you feel uncomfortable, and block or report from the person's profile or the chat.
• In an emergency call your local police first. The app shows the number for your country under Profile, Safety centre.
